Margareth Guedes

Margareth Guedes is an Associate in the Fort Lauderdale office of Rissman, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue, McLain & Mangan, P.A. Her practice is concentrated on Medical Malpractice, General Liability, and Insurance Defense.

Margareth was born and raised in Brazil, where she graduated from Law School and worked as a Civil Trial Lawyer for almost ten years. As a law student, she clerked with the Appellate Court in Brazil and worked as an Appellate Judge’s Assistant. Following law school, Mrs. Guedes practiced business law, labor law, and civil litigation at one of Brazil’s most successful law firms. She also worked as a Court Mediator for almost seven years, gaining valuable experience helping numerous cases settle.

Margareth then moved to the United States and pursued her legal career at Nova Southeastern University, where she received her Juris Doctor in 2021 and began her practice in Miami, Florida, where she practiced Commercial Litigation.

Margareth is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish, in addition to English.
