Biography
Thomas Fox is a Liability Associate in the Tampa office of Rissman, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue, McLain & Mangan, P .A., where he primarily concentrates his practice on General Liability Insurance Defense. He received his Bachelor’s of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University in 2009, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2017, where he gained experience practicing for indigent clients under a provisional law license in the Civil Litigation Clinic, and also competed in Moot Court. Prior to practicing at Rissman, Mr. Fox worked for a full-service law firm in the Chicago area practicing in a variety of different areas. Mr. Fox later moved to the Tampa area and worked at a mid-sized firm practicing primarily in consumer defense work.
I always strive to earn our clients’ trust not only through hard work, but fully evaulating the merits of each case, exploring all potential options with our clients, and helping them arrive at the best solution. My most rewarding moments in practicing law have been when I could leave clients in a better place than when they came to our firm for help on their matter, and it is paramount to me to achieve the best results for them, as well as maintain open communication, add value, and ensure our clients feel we are always working them to arrive at that outcome.
