Jacob Douglas

Jacob Douglas is an Associate in the Tampa office of Rissman, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue, McLain & Mangan, P.A. in their Workers Compensation division. In 2018, he received a Bachelors of Arts in History and a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida. He then entered the Stetson University College of Law, where he served as the president of the Labor and Employment Law Association and an editor on the Journal of International Wildlife Law and Policy. Throughout his law school career, he gained significant experience in Intellectual Property, Land Use, and Property Insurance law by clerking at various firms throughout the Tampa/St. Petersburg area. He was also selected to serve as a Judicial Extern for the United States District Court in the Middle District of Florida. He graduated cum laude from Stetson in 2021.
