Biography
Kristine DeSoiza is an Associate Attorney at Rissman, Barrett, Hurt, Donahue, McLain & Mangan, P.A. Her practice concentrates on Medical Malpractice and Insurance Defense. In addition, she has prior experience representing insurers in bad faith litigation, as well as counseling insurers with respect to first party and third party bad faith claims.
Ms. DeSoiza attended the University of Florida and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 2012. In 2017, she earned her Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University’s Shephard Broad College of Law, graduating Cum Laude. As a prior Committee Member of the Florida Bar’s Law Related Education Committee, Kristine co-authored the Florida High School Mock Trial and Florida High School Moot Court case programs and assisted with the succeeding statewide competitions. While in law school, Kristine was a teaching and research assistant in Constitutional and International Law and a research assistant in Family and Juvenile Law. She served as President of the NSU Trial Association and was a member and an Articles Editor of the Nova Law Review.
